Who am I kidding? I'm not so excited about this plan as I once was, my energies and efforts are being used up on my styling blog and church and a few other places.
I guess I feel I've just outgrown my blog here and the 101 mission.

Slacker
Yep, that's me!
Big time slacker! I've been so caught up in AYS that I didn't even realize how neglected this blog and my church one must feel... :'( Thanks to my cousin, she prompted me to spread a bit more love.
So I guess it would be important to know where I'm sitting atm.
I have 2 Disney paintings for this month and another 2 next month to do. Had 2 done for Christmas, I'll post piccies later.
I did my Christmas cards all handmade this year too.
I'm halfway on my skin routine and it feels great!
What I've really been loving recently is a bit of jewellery making! It's really fun, but I'm running out of beads, so if you have any cool ones, send them my way haha
We are still on for Queensland in March, as well as a delightful trip to Melbourne for... SHOPPING! Yeah Yeah.. Oh, and the DPCon happens to be on that weekend too. So me, Kylie Ofiu and a budding little author we know will be jetsetting our way down there for a few days. I. AM. SO. PUMPED!
Naturally with a new event (DPCon) comes a new outfit. I'm still debating wether I'll buy it now or get it in QLD, such tough decisions... you know hwta they say... first world problems.

41 to go!
Sewed a new skirt 2 weeks ago which I'll be wearing tomorrow to church... It took a bit of time to get done but it looks great. I used this fabric for it. It's awesome!
I also revamped my last item from a pair of pants into a skirt which I wore for last week's Sassy Sunday. I loved these pants when I brought them but they got caught on a fixture at work and ripped. So sad. Now they are an uber-comfy skirt.
Also realized that I have hit teh 12 months to go mark... which means I need to start taking my monthly photo of a location in the next 4 days or it's over for that one. I want to do where C and I got married, but it's so far away (Canberra far, so like 20 minutes...). I'll try to get out there tomorrow after church for my first photo.

X-Factor
WHO THE HELL KEEPS VOTING FOR PRETTY BOY JOHNNY RUFFO AND ROCK WANNA BE REECE MASTIN!
YOU NEED TO STOP BECAUSE IT IS OFFENDING MY EARS AND MY EYES!
AS you can tell, I am highly frustrated at this... why? Why am I so horrified??
Because one of them is destined to be in a bad dancing, girly sounding, 90's boy band that I would have loved 10 years ago... and he tried to do a techno version of one of my fave songs of all time in a flippin metallic jacket with shoulder pads... can anyone say DISGUSTING... He's a flippin' pretty boy who should have been voted out already and is only still in it because of all the irrational teenage females who watch this show (BTW, I am addicted to this show)
The other kid is wanting to do rock but also is too girly... he has girly hair, he has girly clothes (seriously, one week I couldn't tell if they were ripped jeans or a maxi-skirt... awkward!) he sang "I kissed a girl" then actually kissed a girl and had more lipstick on his face than the girl did I swear it! The kid is like 15 or 16 and his mum CHEERED! What The Flippin' Hell?!?!?!?!?! He also tried to sing now TWO of my fave songs (ok, I ahve alot of those...) and both times failed... yet teh judges thought he was great... we must not be listening to the same kid or they are getting paid WAY too sweetly...
so as a public service announcment... THE VOTING FOR THESE TWO MUST STOP SO THEY CAN GO BACK TO WHENCE THEY CAME AND LIVE HAPPY LIVES THERE...

Also... START VOTING FOR THE ONES WHO ARE ACTUALLY TALENTED! Like BOTH of the acts in the bottom two tonight... What the flip was that?!?!?!? Declan is better at singing Muse than Muse is at singing Muse... He owned Wonderwall tonight in hsi own way and it sounded AMAZING! and not crap and not deathly and it did not offend my senses. He is different, original and his own person. He knows who he is and is the coolest dork I've seen on TV (maybe on Par with Sheldon Cooper...)
And YMS... um... HELLO! IT'S YMS! WHen they say YM we say S! YM! S! YM! S! Get it?
They also own the songs they sing (exception of Walk this way... That was a widdle bit painful) they can move, they can sing and they can act... they are funny and they are humble. They just become amazing performers on stage and it seems effortless, like they don't need to try... it's awesome to watch... seriously, go watch thier version of ACDC - Shook Me All Night, just ignore the female... she's annoying, and can't act.
YMS did not deserve to go home last night... EPIC FAIL AUSTRALIA... E-P-I-C!

I can not sing to save my life, nor dance nor act nor all 3 at once... I too, epic fail at that... but I can recognize what's crapa nd what's not...

Times be a changing!
Yep... I've discussed earlier how I'm a bit over working full-time...
My problem is that I can't seperate my job from my personal life but I can seperate my personal life from my job (does that even make sense?!?!?!?) As an employer that's great because I'm that employee that actually CARES about the outcome and as a wife that sucks, because my husband feels like he's worked a full day in my job after 2 hours of me being home.
I also have many goals and aspirations I want to complete.
I have some medical issues I need to get control of.
I am wanting to finish my study.
I will develop myself to be a mother, how I have alsways pictured myself as.
I am creating a business in an industry that I love.
I am going to work Part-time!
WOo HOo!
This isn't an overnight decision, it has been thought about long and hard by both myself nad C. We have um-ed and ah-ed for about a month and we made the decision the other night after finalizing a budget.
He obviously had concerns and conditions as do I, but we will have a 3 month trial from about March (latest). I want to finish out the year at least so we can get teh proper amount of savings behind us to undertake such a change.
So wish me luck on our soon-to-happen adventure!
